| Lachine Bonneville Half Marathon

Word from the team

We are vaccinated in majority; boarders are opening, and society is slowly taking back its course.

Running is a great way to boost self-esteem and promote a healthy lifestyle, but sometimes an unwanted injury can get in the way of our fitness goals. Below is a list of common running injuries and what to watch out for.

  1. Runners Knee

With the weather getting warmer and with spring cleaning started around the house, it is time to think about sorting out our running shoes. But wait, who would have thought shoes would be so hard to find? Didn’t we put them in proper storage bins with labels? That would be too easy, right?

The following message contains two sections. Please take the time to read them carefully:

1. Cancellation of our 2020 edition
2. Transfer of your registration to the 2021 edition

Dear runners,

Following the measures imposed by the Government of Quebec prohibiting sporting events until August 31, the Lachine Half-Marathon is postponed to Sunday, October 11th, 2020

Your registration is automatically transferred to the new date.

Thank you to all the runners who have participated in the fundraising in support of the Alzheimer Society.
Below are the names of the runners who have collected more than 500$ and to whom we have refunded their registration fee.

Many of you are waiting for your race pictures!

The Lachine Bonneville Half Marathon Team wants to congratulate Julien Pinsonneault and co-driver Charles-Olivier Gauvin for their Guinness World Record of the fastest 21.1K while pushing a wheelchair that they won on August 18th with an incredible time of 1:23:52!

Congratulations to all our runners of this morning's Bonneville Lachine Half Marathon!
